Faith Like a Child

Like innocent children walk with childlike faith
To a God who is loving and merciful and took our place
He died for our sins so that we could live
He died on the cross giving all the love he could give

Let His light shine through us now after we clean the glass
Of the windows to our souls that will last
When we walk on the path following Jesus who hung on a tree
It is He who said to be like Him, to not sin and be holy

To desire to be all I can, this is how I am inspired
How can I do less when inflamed with a holy fire
With confidence and assurance that this is right
I have to walk like the saints with all my might

It’s a narrow road, walking one by one
Because we each have our own calling from the Son
